The application process
The journey of an application
Fill in the application form using the guidance notes which follow and return the completed form to us. If you need any help filling it in, the Grants & Services Team at Retail Trust are happy to help you. Call the Retail Trust Helpline 0808 801 0808.
- We must receive your application by 5.00pm on the deadline given for each school. If you do not receive an email to acknowledge receipt of your application within five working days, please contact the above Helpline.
- Your application will be assessed against qualifying criteria to ensure you meet the application requirements. The selection team may phone or email you or your employer if they need additional information.
- Retail Trust and bira will select short-listed candidates by a given date. If selected, you will be contacted and invited to attend a telephone interview.
- If you are successful, you will be notified by letter or email with an offer outlining the terms and conditions of your scholarship. You will need to reply to the offer to secure your place.
- If you are unsuccessful you will be notified by telephone; feedback on your interview can be provided if requested.
