Oxford
Summer School is undeniably hard work - but this doesn't
prevent
the week from also being thoroughly enjoyable. There
is a varied programme of social events throughout the week, providing
a well-earned diversion from the pressures of the programme.
On Thursday comes the social high point of the week, the Summer School Ball,
a black-tie dinner in College Hall complete with entertainment, followed by dancing in a marquee in the Liddon Quad. The Ball
is a chance to unwind before the culmination of the School, the review
of the business exercise on Friday morning.
